I’m Still Standin’

So I originally started this blog for a class I’m taking to get my Master’s degree in Secondary Education with a focus in technology, but now that the class is finished (or almost finished, as soon as I complete a final presentation and reflection paper), I’ve decided to continue on blogging about my use of technology in the classroom. I’ve found some pretty cool tools that my classes love that I would never have tried if I hadn’t been required to explore new technologies and blog about them, so I’m going to continue the quest for a 21st century classroom. Here, I’ll be blogging about new tools I’ve found and lessons that I’ve tried, whether they are successful or not.
Whether or not anyone reads this blog, by giving myself this assignment, I feel like I’m forcing myself to continue trying new things and to be more innovative in my classroom. Besides, there’s no better time than the end of the school year to kick the tires of my classroom and start looking at what needs to be fixed.
